He has "summer hives" and "winter hives", so the bees move houses twice a year.
The summer hives are intended to keep the bees cool and productive, with lots of room for brood and for honey production.
The winter hives are specially designed to keep the bees warm and safe during the very cold months of an Alberta winter.
