Honey
100% Raw and Natural
Our 100% Raw and Natural Honey is harvested straight from the hive, maintaining all the natural enzymes and nutrients.
Strained but never processed, our 100% Natural Honey is delicious and sweet, reflecting the local flora of east central Alberta.
Spiced
Our Spiced Honey is a delightful mix of agents known for their anti-inflammatory characteristics. This product was created because both Doug and Diane have creaky joints and wanted to try turmeric, but couldn't stand the taste. They read about an ancient solution called Golden Milk (which combines honey, spices and milk), so they experimented and perfected a honey / spice blend with turmeric that also includes cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves. Mmmm. Try it in warm milk or any other favourite warm beverage, spread it on toast or indulge straight from the spoon!
Liquid
It's natural for honey to harden over time. That doesn't mean it's spoiled - usually popping the jar in a pan of warm water for a few minutes (never over 110 degrees!) will soften it right up. But some folks prefer their honey in a more liquid form and we are happy to oblige. In our house, we use liquid honey in sauces, marinades and mixes.
